TRX stands for Total Body Resistance eXercise. This class focuses on training with your own body weight, engaging the entire body in the exercises. The TRX is a strap with two handles. Because the TRX suspension trainer is suspended, we can perform a wide variety of fitness exercises using (part of) your body weight as resistance. Kettlebells, dumbbells, and resistance bands will also be used during these classes, allowing us to alternate TRX exercises with strength exercises. This workout is an effective way to build strength and improve core stability!
