The 80th Executive Board consists of seven students. We are responsible for managing all matters concerning the ACLO. Everyone has their own function-specific tasks. In addition to all the hard work, there is also plenty of fun; getting to know new people, activities, trips, conferences, drinks and of course the hours you spend together at the office. The balance between work and fun is just right at the ACLO. We are at our office in the Sports Centre every Monday to Friday. The entrance is next to the entrance of the Koos Duppenhal. Our door is always open, so come by for a chat or a cup of coffee!

Hi, my name is Roan Luning (21) and I'm the chairman of the ACLO this year. Whether it's skating, skiing, or mountain biking, I really enjoy being active. This board year, I want to be accessible to everyone, further develop myself, and have lots of fun, because that's what energizes me.

Hi! I'm Maaike Waalkens (23) and I'm the secretary this year. I'm from a small village in Groningen and have lived in the city since 2023. After completing my bachelor's degree in Amsterdam, I moved back to Groningen and am now studying for a master's degree in sports science. Sports are my passion; I've rowed at a high level, I like squash, and I really enjoy all the group lessons at the ACLO. This is also an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and make the most of my student days.

Hi everyone! I'm Elianne van Boven (24) and this year I'm volunteering as Sports Coordinator! After completing my Sports & Exercise and Physical Education (ALO) degrees, I knew I wanted to stay active in the sports world. I have a great passion for sports, especially volleyball, where I play and coach. I'm looking forward to contributing to student sports in Groningen together with my fellow board members and learning a lot!

Hi everyone! I'm Hanna Hoes (24) and this year I'm the PR & Marketing Coordinator! I've been a member of several sports clubs, but soccer really stands out for me. I enjoy ball games and group lessons the most, so ACLO is the perfect place for me right now :). I'm really looking forward to getting involved in student sports, bringing my creative ideas to life, and enjoying all the fun of being a board member!

Hi! I'm Inge van der Meulen (23) and this year I'm the Internal Coordinator at the ACLO! I grew up in Zuidhorn and moved to Groningen in 2022. Last academic year, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the University of Groningen. I enjoy beach volleyball and volleyball. Last year, I spent a year on the board of a student sports club and wasn't tired of being on the board yet, so I decided to join the ACLO! I'm really looking forward to representing student sports in Groningen this year and developing in my role. I'm also really looking forward to all the fun, parties, and new experiences!

Hi! I'm Anne van Gijssel (20) and this year I'm the ACLO's External Coordinator. I've had a great passion for sports from a young age. I taught skiing for years and discovered how rewarding it is to inspire others to exercise. Sports aren't something everyone takes for granted, and I want to change that. With my humor, spontaneity, and boundless energy, I want to dedicate myself to helping everyone experience the joy of sports!

The ACLO still has a number of committees that are mainly filled with former directors because they require a lot of substantive knowledge about the ACLO. These are the New Construction and Pluses Committee, the Multi-Year Policy Plan Committee, the Hours and Subsidy Advisory Committee and the Cash Committee.
