Brazilian dance vibes at ZOUK Flames Groningen!
ZOUK Flames Groningen opens its doors to introduce you to this beautiful partner dance during our monthly clinics at ZOUK Flames Groningen by Kim.
Brazilian Zouk is a dance that originates from the lambada. It's a wonderful way to get your body moving, express yourself through music and dance, connect with your partner, and become part of a warm and joyful community. We dance to all kinds of music, across various genres. Popular songs we dance to include: Saia Branca by Nelson Freitas, Roda Gigante from MC Rodolfinho or Versace on the Floor by Bruno Mars.
Kim: I fell in love from the moment I saw a video of the dance. I was determined to push myself to the next level and share my passion with others. As a dancer and teacher, I'm conscious, open, technical, and energetic. I was inspired to share my passion and style. I hope to see you soon!
In the clinics, we'll start with the basics of dance (beginner-friendly!). In the second workshop, we'll work on using these foundations to expand your dancing and make your basics more exciting. At the end of the workshop, we'll have a social media platform to connect with the community, dance, and most importantly, have fun!
(You're welcome to attend both workshops, whether it's your first time dancing or you already have more experience. Bring your dancing shoes—or dance socks, which are also fine, as outdoor shoes aren't allowed inside. Water and snacks will be available during the social/party, but feel free to bring your own.)
We hope to see you soon.
